Are you aware of some of the benefits your professional membership can give you. Many professional societies provide their members with access to a collection of Ebooks.
Costs to join as an undergraduate student can be as little as £20 (or free) and members can benefit from access to hundreds of Ebooks.The institution provide their members with access to the Knovel database, a searchable collection of electronic textbooks, reference books, and databanks.
The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE)
IChemE provide members with access to titles from the Knovel database. Information on applying for membership is available in the IChemE membership portal.
